Question Mystery message from potential seller

I was looking at a great deal on a higher milage2010 G37 coupe.
Its on a lot thats 600 miles away, so before I give it a look, I thought I'd get opinions on this cryptic message.
"I notice this infinity sometimes has a little like a missfire is not all the time because the car runs and drive great but sometimes is doing this shake, We don't really now if the car needs a tune up or any sensors, could be a air flow sensor. "

So thats all I have to go on. I wrote back to see if it was throwing a code of any sort, but have not heard anything yet.

Any informed or wild guesses would be appreciated.

a diagnosis to see if it throws a code would be a nice gesture.

Anyone selling this car and who spells Infiniti with a y at the end I'd stay away from.

Good point

I noticed that as well.
I'm not necessarily giving them the benefit of the doubt, but it's their only Infiniti on the lot and I'm certain that English is his second language.
(Miami)
that entire recipe raised my radar to high alert.
They most likely are not familiar with the vehicle.

Thanks for the reply!!

Pass. Any salesperson who doesn't know his product doesn't deserve your business. You can definitely find a private seller who has taken good care of his G. And since you're in Florida, why not shop around for a Skyline?

I would pass. They have no idea what's up with the car. That means you have no idea what's wrong with the car and will likely never know about any more underlying problems. Even if they do offer to do a diagnostic check for you, that should have been done before they put it up for sale. Don't waste your time with this one, move on and look for something closer you can see, feel, and drive.
