Test pipes hardware

does anyone know the bolt and nut specs for the 6 bolts from the manifold to the cat/test pipe? I want to get the nuts boltslockwashers before I take off my cats and install my t/p I'm sure I will have to break one off @ least knowing my luck thanks guys!! Would it be the same nuts and bolts that the 2 bolt flanges use?i put cbe on my car recently and I could easily take out one of those and take it to the store

you can go to auto zone or home Depot/ lowes and match them to the size of the bolts that would remain in the cats after dissasemble. i usally go to autozone or pepboys the universal exhaust bolts works excellent for me you can thread them into the stock header or cat or testpipe however ur setup design. they are gold and comes with nuts u may need 2 sets of them
also included with universal gaskets but i never used the gaskets, just the bolts. oh btw they are 14mm nut and bolt
i ran them on my g35 coupe and running them now with my new setup over stock.
good luck and hope this helps.

Found this in the diy section for hfc If one does come out of the header you can use a hex cap M10-1.50x40 to fill the spot.

A couple tips that will help if you haven't heard~Use a 50/50 mix of acetone/ATF to soak the bolts 24hrs prior, this is the best rust breaker there is. Also use copper based anti-seize on the new nuts& bolts, will make removal easier and keep rust at bay.
And I listed some other tools that made the job easier here~

good luck and dont get stuck under the car for too long. the only side thats hard is the driver side top bolt close to the knuckle.
u may need a long extended adapter and hit it from the front remove drive side intake unless u can u from bottom.

So when I installed my test pipes I broke the drivers side top stud should I take this cat to a shop and have them drill and tap this cat and put me a new stud in place of the old one or just drill it out and use a bolt? Asking because in may I'm going to have to put cats back to pass my smog test thank you guys!!!
