09 G37s push button stuck in lock position
New to this forum but i am lost and need some help.
The alternator on my 09 G37s was not charging and i changed it today. Once i lowered it back down and went to start it it clicked for a second then stopped.
After charging the battery longer and a couple more tries with no success, my g wouldn't even go to acc .
So now when i get in the car with my intelligent key, the orange light saying it recognized the key is on as well as the red alarm light blinking. When i hit the push button to start car or put into acc nothing happens.
Key fob works and i can unlock and lock doors, set alarm and all that stuff.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Hmmm. Do you think your battery is still alive? I believe unlocking the doors would function even if the voltage is quite low - but anything else, particularly cranking the starter would need a fully functional battery. I'd think about replacing it if you can because some batteries have difficulty recovering from a full discharge.
If you're battery is still good, I'd at least try disconnection it for a few minutes and then reconnecting while carefully checking the terminals, cables, and of course all the fuses - starting with the very large ones directly mounted on the + battery cable.
Your service manuals are here:

By the way, if the car recognizes your iKey the light on the dash should be green not orange. Maybe THAT is the reason for your main problem?

Can you lock/unlock the car with the key?
If yes, then the orange key light on the dash may indicate a problem with the Steering Lock module on the car.
If there is a problem with the SL module, then the car won't go to ACC mode.
