I want to replace my 2012 Coupe A54 Vibrant Red rear bumper with the IPL accessory prepainted bumper #K6040-1VT2B. Mine got damaged so seems like a good excuse to swap. I cant get a solid answer if it will have the drilled holes for the back up sensors or not. I do want the holes for my backup sensors. My local dealer is not sure but says their are 2 notes for the part. "No provisions for Technology package or mud guards". So dealer is guessing no holes. I know the splash guards don't fit. But I though the Technology package was for intelligent cruise control?? The only thing my car does not have. I don't think the holes are completely round, so drilling myself is just one more of a big pain to make them perfect. I see in the forums that many people got ones with holes, but some without??? I would appreciate feedback from anyone that has done the swap. I know the bumper can be purchased with many part #'s and prices. So that only complicates the matter. Thanks in advance.

 

Just found this pic from ConceptZPerformance and if this is the one you're talking about it does seem to have holes.

 

Thanks. I am actually in contact with that seller right now trying to confirm details. Its super cheap right now direct Infiniti/Dealer online with coupon. But having no holes will sour the deal for me.

 

The accessory instructions include sensors how too, but I still have no confirmation that all the bumper models and colors have them precut. Even the distributer and dealer won't guarantee it. sad. guess I have to gamble it.

 

So the answer in my case is yes, holes pre-drilled. And of course had to order it twice due to damage. poor packing design.
