Stiff steering wheel and gas pedal

I bought a 2011 G37X ~3 weeks ago, and notice the steering wheel and gas pedal are stiffer than the Nissan it replaced. Yesterday I dropped the car off at the dealership for service. They gave me a new Q50S as a loaner and I immediately notice the big difference. With the Q50S, pressing on the gas pedal and turning the steering wheel are a lot easier.

Is it normal for the G37X? Is it adjustable, or there is something wrong with my car?

LOL, it's called hydraulic steering and it's a good thing, not bad.

If you are replacing a FWD nissan then the steering will be stiffer for sure.
If you are comparing it to a Q50S then the S will have a quicker steering ratio

certain nissan model cars do have steering rack tension adjustments but its not meant for those individuals who don't have the proper tools or know how to do. btw stop comparing different car models with one another, thats like saying you would like an apple to taste like a grape. manufacturers do not always drop in the same part component from year to year. if you don't like how your g37 drives or handles because of your own personal preference get another model like the q50 which you favor.

I test drove a few G37's today and noticed this as well. Definitely stiffer steering and pedal than what I'm used to but that's just it, I will get used to it.

Are there any advantages to the hydraulic steering? Just curious.
