Help with front strut

Ok I'm putting in the d2 coilovers and spl camber kit. I jacked the car and started on the front right pulled everything out got it switched no problem, moved to the left side pulled the upper control arms went to remove the strut and it is stuck.


Problem, strut is completely un bolted upper control arm is out, and the strut seems to have expanded to the full swing of the lower control arm, the strut is still tight and I have no play whatsoever.




Solution? I'm wondering how to alleviate pressure, is there anyway to release the pressure in the strut, or get more play out of the lower control arm?


At this point I don't know if the strut on the left side is just set up longer or if the lower control arm doesn't swing as low on the left side. Thanks in advance.

 

Got it figured out I had to disconnect the other side to get the arm to release.
