Oil cooling
Oil cooling
This might be a dumb question but does the 2009 base sedan come with an oil cooling system in front of the radiator? I ask this because i bought mine and i noticed it had it after taking off the bumper, and i checked my friend's 2012 Journey and it didn't have it. Also the cars was completely stock when i bought it.
Not a dumb question at all RPG. None of the G Sedans come with an engine oil cooler from the factory. There is a power steering fluid cooler though. Would that possibly be what you're seeing? If you have a 7AT, the transmission cooler is integrated into the radiator. The power steering fluid cooler is rather small though. Any photos of what's on your car by chance?
If that is *exactly* what yours looks like, then it's an oil cooler. That's too large (I think) to be a power steering cooler.
However....that doesn't look like a G37 of any type, much less a sedan. In the picture you posted, there is an oil cooler. On a G37, the cooler looking thing right there is a power steering cooler.

Picture won't load because you linked a google search rather than the hardlink for the picture. Whatever, I followed the link from the source, and once again, if you're referring to the part on the left, it's a power steering cooler, if you ALSO have the part on the right, it's an oil cooler.

RPG, the picture that you referenced appears to be for a Middle East spec car (followed the thread to the370z page where they're discussing it). They come from the factory with an external transmission fluid cooler (the cooler on the right) because it gets like 130 degrees over there. US spec cars have the trans cooler integrated into the radiator AFAIK.
