Red face Accessory Initialize Reset Issues =/ oops

So I think I messed up. I went into the self diagnostic / configuration/adjustment menu (hold down settings and spin the volume know clockwise very fast) I was snooping around in the menus there and noticed alot of features to adjust... sooo I saw an option to perform accessories initialize reset.

Since then no volume is displayed aswell no volume control on the speakers so no sound. My rear camera trajectory path line-up lines are no longer visable, and also when hitting the info button where there used to be a fuel economy option, there is now a trip computer option.

What did I do??

So I took the car to the dealership, they hooked it up and now are telling me that my "AV" (Audio Visual) Module is not responding and that I need to have a new AV Module installed.

Any Input?

Your module is not broken. Using consult 3 or consult 3 plus, there is a method to reinitialize the av module. Go to a different dealership.

Under Warranty still, they're have already ordered a new one, guy said it was manufactured by Panasonic, I thought that was interesting.

I believe that you are correct, with the info I gave them of only the speakers and line-up trajectory not there for the rearview camera, they probably didn't even bother to try to re-initialize it and called it bad... but hey if they want to throw a brand new one in there to make it work.... sure ok lol would they're be any concern to doing that??

Thanks Modme
