Exclamation Please help me assess the condition of my flywheel/clutch

I'm having problems with a 6mt transmission, but I wanted to get your advice regarding the life of my Clutch/Flywheel. Also please note that prior to the transmission issues - I did not experience any slipping, or chatter from the clutch/flywheel.

Please give me your opinion on rather these parts (20k Miles) are in Good or Bad Condition. Also does it appear to be (Normal-Wear/Tear)/Shot/Abused/Hotspots ect.

Thanks,

That clutch looks like it has some decent life left, but the flywheel and pressure plate both look like they were reused after a previous clutch plate was totally worn out or something. I cant tell if its clutch plate residue or metal grinding down from the clutch plate rivets. Either way i would probably be inclined to resurface the flywheel or replace it and put in a new clutch kit.

Im looking at the same situation in the spring, but i havent determined yet if i want to swap it out myself or have a shop do it. Did you pull the clutch yourself? If so was it a pain? I've done clucthes many times before but not on a new car like my 2008 g.

what's wrong with the trans that made you tear out the clutch and pressure plate?
clutch looks like it still has plenty of material on it. the pressure plate and flywheel do look like theres harsher wear on it. do you ride the clutch a lot? or perhaps rapid 1st to 2nd engagement where you ride the clutch causing the harsher wear on the pressure plate and flywheel?
