Broken Endlink?

Sup guys, went under the car to see what was causing a "croaking noise" by my passenger side. At first it sounded like my suspension, but after looking under the carriage I find this:

Is that an endlink that the sway bar connects to? If so, where can I buy a new one?

Yes. You can buy more OEM ones that will probably break again or get Whiteline or SPL ones. Both are adjustable. SPL ones use a heim joint which has been known to make noise sonetimes. Not always, but sonetimes they do.

sorry to bump up old thread, found out my rear OEM endlinks are broken today, just on the passenger side. I am running Hotchkis sway bars. Can I still drive around with 1 broken endlinks while waiting for new part to arrive? What will it effect for the car? the handling still seems fine. I am lowered on KW V3.

Off topic question, what exactly does the endlinks do in our suspension?

You can still drive the car but handling might be squirrelly and unpredictable.

End links connect the anti sway bars to the suspension at both ends. This stiffens the front or rear of the car laterally by linking each side of the suspension to the other. It keeps both tire treads flatter on the ground through curves to give more grip. Greater cornering forces require beefier components to handle the extra forces being transmitted through the suspension components. If you install much stiffer sway bars and don't install stronger end links, they become the weak link (pun intended) in your suspension components and can break. Typically the rears are more likely to fail than the fronts.

Glad I see this, I've been hearing some creaking noise recently, I thought it's just that the Hotchkis sway bars need some grease. I have to look maybe the endlink is broken too.

Since this has been bumped, the broken endlink wasn't the problem to the creaking noises. After I sold my KW's, the noise was gone. I'm assuming it was something with them, no matter how many times I adjusted them...

Creaking noise is more likely bushings needing grease than something broken.
