Hood not latching.

When I try to close my hood, the passenger side will not lock down.

Has anyone one encountered this?

I feel like there's a spring missing or something.

The driver side locks down fine.

When I press down the driver side latch it sticks but the passenger side just bounces right back to the unlocked position.

Any ideas?

I had this problem on my 370, I had to drop the good from about the halfway point. It was rather violent but worked and was the recommended method. You might try putting a little force on when it closes. Also, check the little rubber bumpers that keep the hood buffered from the fenders and grill, one of them may need to be adjusted.

Pull the hood release one more time see what happens.

I had this issue as well. The little latch that holds the hood down may not be functioning properly. It is sort of a hook mechanism to keep it down, mine would not snap into place to hold the hood down. What i did was play with the wire that it was connected to get it to lock in place. Hopefully that helps man.

Also like what diego said, with the hood open have someone pull the hood release and look at the passenger side where it latches to see if the latch is actually moving and operating properly, I am almost certain you will realize it isn't moving. Thats the prob right there.

Pull and release the hood latch while you grease those latches up... I had both of them not locking and ever since I played around with them I haven't had any issues
