Which brand cabin air filter actually fits?

So last time I bought a cabin air filter, it was short by a few mm's and didn't fit snug like the OEM one does. I think it was a Wix, but I don't remmeber for sure. I was just on Amazon and someone with an 08 G35 posted that the Fram FreshBreeze cabin filter was also a bit small.

Is there any particular brand that fits perfectly? Or would I have to get an OEM one for that? I'm looking for one with a charcoal filter in particular. Thanks in advance.

the Fram FreshBreeze doesn't have charcoal in it but apparently it has baking soda. I always just grab the OEM filter for the Infiniti, you can get them online for $20-30, not worth the hassle looking elsewhere.

I just bought the OEM ones from my local Nissan dealership this past Saturday. I think I paid like $24 for the G and $24 for my Titan.

Where should I go to buy a replacement engine air filter and cabin air filters for my 2011 G37s? I don't care if its OEM or not, I just want the best value - and by that I don't mean cheap - just the best bang for your buck. I'm thinking that I will avoid a reuseable one for now, but I do plan on installing it myself. Thanks!

I use RockAuto Auto Parts. They have good prices and a large selection, and there is usually an extra 5% off coupon floating around if you google for it. I got the Wix air filters and Fram Freshbreeze cabin filter along with some Bosch oil filters for my G for pretty cheap.

BTW, according to the box, the Fram Freshbreeze uses baking soda AND charcoal. I had no probs with fitment, although i probably wouldn't have noticed if it was only a couple mm off. It has been working fine.

+1 for Rockauto. I have their generic charcoal cabin filters and they work and fit just fine. And they are cheap. $7 for the Wix air filters (which I like better than OEM) and $13 for charcoal cabin air filters. Quick shipping and good customer service (had to return some A/c system parts I ordered for my other car and had no issues at all).

^^ hey BB: i was just about to order a few Wix filters. i have used their oil & air filters for years - very high quality (much better than OEM). is their cabin filter charcoal/carbon empregnated? or just plain paper filter? i see on their website they talk about some Bioshield75 feature. not sure what that is...

The cheap charcoal cabin filters they have are a different brand. The Wix ones are not available in charcoal. Wix doesn't make them.

I have an established relationship with the manufacturer of the OE filters. There are both charcoal and standard models that are provided to nissan/infiniti. Unfortunately they don't normally sell to the public, but I can put together a group buy to get you guys a smoking deal.

I have allergies and use the WIX cabin filters from Rock Auto. Change them once a year. No problems.

Did I miss out on this group buy? I am also interested in getting a charcoal air filter.

Do you recall if the brand was TYC? If not, no worries; I can't even remember last week.

Just wondering b/c I currently see this carbon filter at RockAuto for $9.25:
TYC Part # 800130C
(The same filter is also available on amazon for $16.17, but didn't exactly get a great review. They said it was too flimsy.)
