my dealer took all 6qts of oil!?

i put 6 qts of oil in the trunk and told them i needed a oil change. this is a brand new G and my first oil change also. i bought 6 qts of mobil1 5w-30 for 40$ total from costco and guess what i thought i would have like a qt left over.. but i guess not.

they used all 6 qts?! or they scammed me and took a qt. oil change costed 35$ for labor + washer + filter with my oil.

this is bull######

next time ill do the oil change myself.

how much oil does YOUR dealer use when you do an oil change for a G37s?

why not just ask them where the rest of your oil is? they probably took it all out at once and left it somewhere. I highly doubt a dealership wants to steal your extra oil, if there was any left.

I wonder how mad he would get if they really tried to screw him over instead a $6.50 bottle of oil?

Seriously though...It holds a little more than 5 qts of oil...maybe they didn't want to put a bottle of oil in your trunk that had been opened. They sometimes leak...or maybe they just forgot to put it back.

If they'd put the opened partial bottle in your car and it leaked oil everywhere, you'd be pissed and bashing the dealership for it and complaining that they should have known better than to put an opened oil bottle in there because they should have known it might leak.

Simple solution - change your own oil.
