Will it tell you when yer oil needs to be changed (based on driving habits) or when various services need to be performed? thanx

 

I dont think it adjusts based on your driving habits. It will just tell you at the standard 3750 miles or whatever its set at.

 

I dont think theres a "Oil Life" indicator on the car.. but you can set scheduled reminders based on mileage on the navigation screen in the maintenance section.

 

No, the G does not come equipped with that type of feature. As others have mentioned before, it just comes with maintenance reminders that you can set at a desired mileage (i.e., oil changes every 3750 miles). Just follow what the owner's manual says for recommended service, and you should be just fine.

 

I think it also tells u when its time to put gas..... Lol..

 

It has counters for Oil, Filter, Tire Rotation and Other. The first two are set for 3750 miles by default. The tires were 7500 I think and the Other was either 11250 or 15000. I forget which. You can reset the counters or change the alert mileage number in your console. I just got my first oil change and changed y oil and filter to 7500 miles,

 

Actually, it does tell you. When distance to empty drops approximately to below 30 miles the LCD display will give you a low fuel warning. If you have navigation, there will also be an icon on the nav screen showing the nearest gas station.
