I recently put in Motul V300. So far so good. We will see how it held up in 2500 more miles. Just stick with 5w30 or it could affect your warranty depending on the dealership.

Sorry just bought my car, the question I have is the dealer going to put just regular oil? Because I'd like to go syntetic...Should I ask for it, go with it in the bag? I'm just not familiar with the way Infiniti dealers do it.

Thanks,

The dealer will use whatever brand of bulk oil they have at the dealership, I'd guess Kendall but you'd have them to ask to be sure. Yes, it will be conventional petroleum motor oil. Actually, they will probably use the Nissan "ester oil" now which is quite expensive ($11-$15/qt.) Most will let you bring your own oil and filter and uset them if they are compatible. If you are going to go to the trouble and expense of buying your own oil and filter, why not just change it yourself if you can?

I'm switching to this as soon as it arrives from Forged this week.
