My peeps...Little issue.
Im on vacation down here in Puerto Rico visiting my folks and my GF called saying that she went to turn the G on and it was dead. I called my boy so he can jump it and he's like the battery is completely drained. Which Optima Battery should I get? Ill appreciate any information.

 

had the same problem bro...Hadn't driven my car for 5 days and went this morning to start it and it wouldnt start..Hooked up my battery charger and it roared to life in a heartbeat..Taking it too the dealer after the first of the year..

 

there needs to be something done about these batteries

 

I know.... When I saw that thing for the first time I was like Damn this BEAST OF A CAR comes with a scooter battery.

 

I just has Optima Red Top after it's all drain one week ago.unbelievable!!!
I just had it from Mar 2008.

 

How come when I complained about my battery last year I got flamed on this forum? Anyways back on topic, there is that other battery that is lightweight Braile i believe it's called. As for Optima, isnt yellow top the best?

 

here lately at start-up she's starting to sound pretty weak.... like she is having trouble starting up.... wonder if my batt is about to go..... hmmmmm

 

I'm having the same problems two. If I dont drive for a day or two it almost doesnt start. I've already had the dealer look at it twice and they keep saying everything is fine and all the tests came back and said everything was ok.

 

wow.. my G's been impounded for 10 days now.. should I take a spare battery with me in case it doesn't start when I go pick her up?

 

^^^ i don't think so if you're stock in terms of electrical components (no subs etc.)

 

For All the G.If you don't start it for 2-3 days.The battery will drain out.Only if you jump start from Battery Charger you will be good after that but you need to start it everyday otherwise it will be dead again.I've done that before i decided to change it to Optima REDTOP.
i don wan any ploblems w/ parking 2-3 days since i have 2 cars.

 

I'm overseas right now and I come back next month. My girl got my G out of storage and they had to charge the battery and now my windows won't go up. WTF?
