FYI - Our gas tanks are plastic (as most cars today), so they won't rust.

He's likely referring to the fact that wholesaler's like Coscto, Walmart, Sam's Club, BJs, etc typically have 10% ethenol. However, depending on your location, all your gas stations may use an ethenol blend.

I'd undecided on the whole ethenol thing.

Well fortunately we don't have to make a decision, we are forced to use the ethanol blends.

Rust typically occurs from moisture in your tank from not filling up all the way, not from gas. If you only put $20 in here and there, well more like $40 nowadays then this might be a problem for you so fill it up completely whenever you can.

thats what they want you to think. what are they going to say, "oh we use the same gas as walmart, sams, etc." then who would buy their gas when they can go get walmart gas for cheaper for basically the same thing?

any place that is cheap for me. sams is majority of the time cheaper. 3.60 for 93 .

Crude has dipped below $80 from being at $145/ barrel within the last few weeks. Gas prices will be sliding downward at least for the short term. I got 93 for $3.15 here Houston yesterday. 87 is back down to $2.93 near my house.

Is the Southeast still having supply problems?

^^ Totally Agreed! Thats all I have ever put in my gas tank is Chevron and thats all I will put unless I'm in a real emergency or if I have to such as traveling through the states, but I will try to use my navi and find a chevron if possible! I totally believe in Chevron, others believe differently.
