Bumper bolts not fully threading

Hi all,

Took my bumper off to install lasfit bulbs in my headlight.

Currently dealing with the issue where the bolt that holds the bumper to the fender just spins on both sides. It'll thread in a out half way to 3/4ths of the way, and then just spin. The threaded inserts on the bumper apparently are spinning.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Edit: stuck in work mode, signed off like an email with my name 🤣🤣

You're gonna need new pieces then. They are made out of plastic and they get brittle with age and just break.

They come separate. Are you talking about the one on the side of the car or the one in the engine bay? Got a pic?

You can find that cheaper on eBay or Amazon. Just search using the part number.
