Looking for some opinions.

Could a carbon grill look odd on a carbon bumper? Or will a gloss or matt grill look better?

 

IMO, all carbon looks just as awkward as all black or all chrome. The midnight grille had the right idea.

Over a decade ago, I saw someone's custom grille here on the forum, which was basically a Midnight Grille, but with the border section painted body color. Man, I couldn't get my grille to the body shop fast enough after seeing that, LOL.

Is the bumper you're asking about gloss black carbon? Maybe just paint the slats matte black, leaving the border in CF.

I think you are right, having the border help break up the color/shade would look better.

maybe on the long run, I’ll see if I can find a shop to do a carbon overlay on the door and quarter panel for a full carbon look.
