I was replacing the a/c temperature sensor on my sedan and found a male adapter next to the sensor as shown. It is missing a female whatever on it. Anyone know what it is? Am I missing a sensor or something here??
I attached a photo before but it's not on my post - I'm a newbie here and I can't attach a photo. It uploads and stops at 90%.
Anyhow, my outside temp was ridiculously high like 20 degrees over ( I would get 110 degrees, if outside was 90). So I replaced the ambient temp sensor located in the middle behind the front grill. The new sensor brought it almost down to outside temp.
But, I noticed that there was another female connecter attached to the cable attached to the ambient temp sensor connection. But, it was open (without anything attached to it). I thought it was weird to have an open connector that like, so wondering if I'm missing something there.
Again, if you can tell how many wires and their colors that would help tremendously. There are only but so many sub-harnesses on that branch so it shouldn't be too hard to narrow down.
Good news... You are not missing anything.
That is for the G37s that have the "Tech Package" with "plasmacluster" and connects to the "odour" sensor. (E75)
