New Headlight Assembly

My G37x sedan needs new headlights, and holy **** the OEM parts are expensive
I found the parts on rock auto but they dont seem to carry anything for G37x, they only have it for sedan, and journey. Is it ok to install the journey headlights on my X, or is it a different spec

Sorry for rookie question but I couldnt find the info in existing threads

All the coupe headlights should be a direct fit for your coupe.
Only big difference is if you have the adaptive headlights.
If so, you would loose that feature. But they will still bolt right in.

I dont care that much about the adaptive headlights, I dont think I even have that feature in mine tbh but is it the same for sedans?

Have you tried looking for the OEM headlights on Amayama?

Yes, sedan headlights fit sedans.
Base, Journey, Sport, X, XS...
all the same headlight.
Pretty sure you can get just the lenses for Sedan

Technically the sport is a different headlamp as it has a darker chrome inside the housing. Same physical dimensions and everything though.

Filed under miscellaneous info, for sure, and all true. Some time back there was a guy here who shared a picture of his car with a single headlight replacement from the shop. The new one was a "sport package" headlight, and the other a non-sport. Wait, I can find that...

Just at a glance, you'll be thinking it's a trick of the light. But nope, the sport package headlight is just a little bit darker chrome. If it were a scale of 1 to 10 from light chrome to dark, where the non-sport was a 3, the sport would be a 4. Such a truly stupid detail. I don't understand who makes these decisions.
