Infamous Rattle/Pinging noise?

Hey all,

I have had my 09 Sedan for about 3 months now (87k AT) I hadn’t noticed originally, but when under really low load at low rpm’s in mostly 1st and 2nd gear I hear a rattle/pinging? I have heard of the heat shield or the cat issues, I checked my heat shields and they seem fine, haven’t checked the cats themselves. I have a video recorded, you can hear first and second, and even faintly in third. Was going up hill, very low load. POV is out the driver side window. It doesn’t happen all of the time under load, but when it does it’s usually around the same RPMs (about 1.1-1.4K). Any ideas? Just want to assure it isn’t something bigger that could cause me issues (preignition or spark knock?) I just changed valve cover gaskets, tube seals, and plugs. Found oil on a couple and 6 was swimming in it. She ran better after that, but this is still present. I will get under the car soon, just haven’t had time with work.

Any help is really appreciated, thanks y’all.

If I had to guess from what I heard, it sounds to me like something is loose under the car. Get it up on a lift and start banging around.
