So I was trying to fix my grab handle but the metal clip that holds the grab handle clip down fell into the pillar. Will this clip cause the airbags to go off due to a short? Also where can I buy the metal clip?

 

I think you have to take it to a checkup !

 

The connector for the airbag is recessed into the squib (ignitor module). There is zero chance any "metal clip" can "short" the connection and cause a unintentional deployment.
