Anyone know the name of this Engine Bay Cap?

I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to find the part name/number for the highlighted cap in the pic below. Scoured part diagrams and came up with 92499-89921 but that appears to be the A/C service valve cap and is too small too fit.

Feel a bit silly I can't figure this out, but figured I'd reach out to the forum for help. Thanks in advance!

Technically, that is the service cap for the HIGH (discharge) side of the AC system. This will be slightly larger than the LOW (suction) side of the system (located in the brake box). Each should have "H" or "L" embossed on them.

That said, the p/n you found (92499-89921) is for the LOW side. I found 92499-89920 (which has been superseded to 92499-2DX0A) is for the HGH side:

As always, verify before you buy. I would shoot a email to discountinfinitiparts.com (or your own supplier) and have them verify. But I am confident the 2DX0A is the HIGH side cap.

Only if the p/n's are correct.

You could probably just go to any chain part store and get a generic set of R-134 caps.

Either way, let me know if the #'s are correct, plz.

You absolutely right any car parts store like Autozone or Napa carry those replacement r134 caps.

Sorry for the delay in updating this thread, I got tied up with work. Unfortunately despite confirming with the infinitipartsdeal- I still received the LOW side caps for 92499-2dx0A. BLEH, at least not's all lost as I discovered I was missing the Low side cap too on my G. I'm probably going to waive the white flag and get some generic R134 caps.

In any case, appreciate the help in trying to get this part number!

They sent you the wrong part. Was that packet already opened when you received it? Something tells me someone pulled the old "switcheroo."

I just searched "924992DX0A" in google images and the results came back with the "HI Side cap:"

I also checked the catalog again and that p/n IS for the HI side.

@ILM-NC G37S it must have been a part mixup, but the item arrived brand new with no signs of tampering.

I still keep finding the same number you found. Sigh, I’ll probably end up driving to my local dealer to pick one up

The (original) HI-side cap was black and was p/n: 92499-89920 as shown here:

At some point- and for some likely idiotic reason- Nissan decided to "change the color of the cap." The p/n was superseded to the 2DX0A (pictured above).

For "Schlitz" and giggles I also checked the Japanese parts catalog and it is the same thing. There may be some limited 89920 inventory floating around, but the 2DX0A is the current iteration:

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Too much hassle for a simple cap you can get at any chain store or even Amazon, but I digress..
