My 2010 g37s has a clunky first to second gear shift at redline. The car is new to me and with my previous 2004 sti I had no issues with the 1_ 2 shift at wot. I've only tried the shift a few times with the G and it has a clunky feel and sound getting into second gear. Almost sounds like the gears are grinding or close to it when the shift happens. Is this me or a normal trait of the car ? I have read threads on here but they are discussing a clunky shift at a much lower rpm. I dont have any problem daily driving and the 1 to 2 gear shift.
The car is totally stock with 60 000 easy miles on it. I haven't got past the 1 2 shift at wot yet but hoping the 2 3 4 5 6 shifts will be better .Thanks for your reply.

 

thank you I will check the gear oil, probably change it too.
