Oh hey, I've got a video from last weekend where you can hear my FI exhaust. It's not great by any measure, but if you turn up the volume you can hear well enough.

To the OP, when I ordered my FI exhaust in February, I still had the option to go 2.25 or 2.5" - My choice was impacted by how much those pipes can flow. With full bolt-ons and tune, etc, 2.25" gets restrictive on our cars, so I went with the 2.5" for the best flow. See here: https://www.exhaustvideos.com/faq/ho...pipe-diameter/

Of course the calculations don't take into consideration other factors (exhaust bends, cats, resonators / mufflers, etc), but it's a good estimation.

Going to try to get some windows-down recording this week. It really does sound glorious when you get on it. Well, not Aston Martin good, but you get the idea.
Sounds great Mike, thank you for putting these together! Are you an Aston Martin fan? I'll never forget the first the time I heard what I think was a V8 Vantage pulling away from a light. I've been in love ever since!

I don't know how you've been able to keep your car looking so good after all these years. Major props to you man. Thank you for the sound clip, sounds fantastic!

Nice! Are you happy that you went 2.5"? What's the sound level like, especially on the highway? Do you happen to remember how long it took them to build/ ship your exhaust? That's the other thing I forgot to consider, the lead time on exhaust builds!

I want to say thank you for all who contributed on this post. This weekend, I'll be jacking up the car (along with my dad's help) to crawl underneath & assess the damage before I start ordering replacement parts and/ or a full exhaust. Unfortunately, my exhaust leak seems to be getting worse. It's getting a tiny bit louder by the day & I can definitely feel the car becoming sluggish. Crazy how an exhaust leak can have such an effect on performance. I'll take some pictures & keep you guys updated!

I haven't received it yet. Ordered mid-February and it's due to ship late May to early June. I'll surely be posting some sort of review / sound clips.

Once you've heard an Aston, you know if you're really a car person or not. Even if you don't like the cars, the sound just speaks to you.

Top Gear (original) had an episode where they took three supercars to the Isle of Wight I think? With an Aston and two other supercars. The Aston was slowest but even Clarkson was awed by the sound.

Only thing that compares was an original GT-40 Mk4 at a vintage race.

Some more noise:

Sedate driving in neighborhood. WOT pull to redline at the very end (when I get out on the main road). Windows/sunroof down, phone in mount. Old guy in driver seat.

Spirited low-speed driving:

Some heel-and-toeing at the end:

Not very good video but the sound is OK...

I've been driving the company car (2017 Fusion) for so long now that I forget how fun this car is.

Wioah, that's pretty noticeable (not as quiet as I thought). Sounds good!
