p0420 HFC or Stock cats for fix

So I know there's a lot of threads about this subject and I've been scrolling for days. I just cant figure what to do. My car is having a problem with the catalytic converter on bank 1. The catalytic converter is rattling and since the SES light is now appearing with that code. I'm assuming soon enough that it is going to find its own way out if I don't take care of it soon. I just hear stories about the cat getting clogged causing misfires and etc and the funny thing is that 2 weeks ago I had that exact problem with misfires and I replaced all my coils and spark plugs and it fixed it for now but if the cat is the underlying problem ...

I am looking into some of the HFC options but all I hear is that they don't last long at all not even like 20k miles on a high flow cat the kinetix are like 450$ right now which is way better for me rather than spending the 3,000$ that the dealer quoted me. Also I got a quote from some a n b catalytic converter repair shops and i got quoted from about 700-1000$ to do the work and provide the aftermarket cat but i dont want to just have them put these amazon cats in my car and then it breaks in the future there's so many little things going on and i cant figure what i should do i keep waiting for an answer and driving my car to work everyday without fixing the problem alot of hfc are on back order but im not worried about how long i have to wait because there are other opportunities for me to get and do what i need done but i would rather do it in my G so what would be better for my car

buying aftermarket high flow cat for 400-550$ and have it installed for like 200$ or so labor. 700$ total
or
trusting a muffler exhaust shop that does cat repair and replacement to provide the cats and do the labor 700-1000$

btw im not going for power or planning on tuning my car or anything like that just looking for the best fix without having to get it done at the stealership

I have also heard hfcs don’t last long without throwing a check engine light, but Kinetix claims to have a lifetime warranty so if there’s an issue hopefully they will take care of it. Also, you can probably offset quite a bit of the cost of Kinetix cats will cost by selling your factory cats, if they’re full.

I have fast intentions hfc’s on mine for about a year and I’ve had no issues with a check engine light

did yours come with the CELfix? im looking to get these isr from import image racing because they're in stock. kinetix had a 4 week wait. im just worried about the metallic core because ive seen bad reviews about the cat cracking or whatever and sending little metal shards back up into the engine

No cel, I have full dual exhaust and they’re quite loud, in all honesty my car sounded better before. It really depends on your exhaust setup.

I've had my Berks for a couple years now no CEL. They rattle and rasp, but no CEL. I'm thinking of getting the Kinetix or FI resonated HFC. Its too expensive to try to get the oem cats.
