Help! Limp mode and VVEL Actuator replacement

I have an ‘09 Journey Sedan (AT) with 140K miles. I was driving normally to work when my car went into limp mode with a limit of 3,500 rpm, other forum posts indicate this to be a vvel actuator problem. I am more than willing to do the work and replacement for the parts but I can’t find any videos or guides online to help you do so. Do any of you guys know or have any experience with replacing the vvel actuator, if so I would really appreciate some help, thanks.

Have not done it myself, I remember coming across this video a while ago, maybe it will be of some use.

Since it is an 09 it may beworth you checking to see if ITB09-028 is an option for you. After the update my nightmare of limp mode was over.
