G37s is faster off the line

I don't know why but so much info seems hidden on the S vs standard boring model And un known by even parts suppliers. Example: Ebay will try and sell u regular brakes for an S thinking they fit, Oriely says the S has Brumbo brakes, and upon purchasing the S I was informed that the only difference is paddle shifters and seat stiching.

Now I learned that the differential not only has LSD but a higher gear ratio. Is this correct? So it's faster off the line, but less top end speed right?

I got a little squirly with mine, and it kicks sideways very well. It will also screech it's tires through 1st gear and most of 2nd gear (7at). On a launch with TC off.

Also mine came off carvana with bigger rear tires than front. Is this standard? I'm kinda thinking the previous owner may have done mods, and race stuff.....

The brakes are Akebono. The OEM wheels on the RWD Sport Package are staggered. The rear gear ratio is the same 3.367:1 in the RWD G37 with the 7AT, regardless of Sport Package. There's a lot more to the Sport seats than just stitching. This spec sheet is always helpful:

What is or isn't boring is subjective. Lots of car people think slushboxes are boring, irrespective of flappy paddles.

Brumbo brakes and race stuff

I can barely get my tears to screech in first despite mods. Granted I'm running 275 rears with Michelin sport tires, but I have to wonder if you have quality tires on the car to be screeching through most of second.

I think it's a combo of tires/torque/road conditions. For example I was in third gear I believe the other night and I was turning into a driveway to a shopping center. The ground was a little cracked/uneven and it chirped the tires. I was accelerating a little bit more than "a normal driver" but not flooring it or anything. I currently have Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 255/40/19 on 19x9.5" in the rear. Basic bolt-ons and a tune.

Usually when I floor it from a stop it doesn't chirp the tires. When I first got my new headlights I went to a backroad which was well-paved and did this and it chirped in first. I do live in a pretty hot and humid climate, though.. and that was July 4th night and I think it was pretty cool and dry.

Isn't the whole idea of wider/stickier tire to get better traction? If a tire is screeching it's because it's spinning/broken loose == loss of traction. According to tirerack, a 7-9" wheel is recommended for that width tire. I doubt 1/2" makes much difference but could affect your contact patch.

When I had the stock size PSS on the S sedan, I don't recall ever hearing any noise, even on some aggressive corners. Probably an indicator the tires had more traction but I have my own limits too.

The tread width varies by tire brand too so some variance may have to do with that. I didn't choose this fitment but I don't have any issue with it (it was on car when I bought it). Well, these are actually replacement tires because the old ones were down to the wire and I didn't want to replace all 4 tires. The shop bought the wrong tires. I told them to put extremecontact sports on them and they put DWS06.

One thing I forgot to include in my list was tire pressure too.

I don't think matched tires matters as much to straight line driving as it does to cornering. For the latter, best to have matched sets, esp near the limits.

The last set of tires I got for a different car came from discount tires. They got the right model, size, but the date code bothered me. It was nearly 2 years old. Told 'em I want something fresher. Next set was 6 months old. You should have refused the wrong tires.....

Right, I'm not implying that the tires matching the fronts has anything to do with it. I was just making the point I didn't really choose these. I didn't realize they were wrong until a while later because the branding looks almost the same.
