Ramp question for 6mt Sedan owners with the sport lip

What brand "Ramps" do you use? I have a set of "Rhino Ramps" but they too steep for me to drive up. I was wonder what brands were being used. Looking to be able to raise the front but also possibly the rear to also do a Diff bushing change.

Also sorry for the noob questions. while I have owned my G37 for over 10 years, I've never worked on it so this will be the first time attempting to raise it. I would prefer not to use Jack stands since i believe they ruin the pinch welds.

After lowering my G, I bought a set of Race Ramps some years ago, Not cheap, but taller, wider, stronger and longer than the typical ramp.

https://www.raceramps.com/ramps/p/rr-56/

Here's the car up on race ramps in the driveway, as I was draining the rear diff a few years ago.

No but some of the comments said they worked on their lowered car. Buy and try in the parking lot. Go return if no go.

I made my own ramps solid wood. I used 2x12 wood stuck them 5 high different lengths and they work like a charm. Watch some youtube videos on DIY ramps. They used them to lift Converts. You will save a lot of $$$ and they solid.

Your best bet is Home Depot, some 2x4 wood like stated above.

You can taper them however you want.

When I did maintenance such as trans(6mt)/diff service, I'd jack up both front/rear centers, place drive on ramps under respective wheels to keep the car level. For filling either, long tube with funnel worked well. Let gravity do the work. Jack stands with hockey pucks when I needed access to brakes.

For anyone worried about crushing the pinch weld lift points on each corner when using their floor jack... buy a hockey puck, take a box cutter and a flat head screwdriver to create a groove down the middle about a 1/2" deep, and problem solved.

Been doing that for decades. Simple hack for peace of mind.

Sorry, I didn't take any pics, but literally, jack up the front under the K member, place ramps under tires, rear under diff, place ramps under tires, lower car down in each instance.
