I got answers, but... this is way off topic. The OP isn't looking for the current model of either these cars, and the model years he's looking at don't have a CVT.

Lol....well...I'm not sure I understand your argument against my suggestion then. Why's my statement Hyperbole if you even agreed that you'd rather have a 10yr old CRV than a 10yr old Forester?
