How serious can a transmission leak be? 6MT 09'
Looking at a 180k mile 09' 6MT Sedan with a transmission fluid leak
$7k
New lightweight flywheel/clutch @ 150k
New Water Pump/Gallery Gaskets fixed
Motordyne Exhaust
GTR R35 OEM Wheels
Stance Coilovers
Looking at it as a potential daily while I find another low mileage 6MT Sedan 12'-13'
Looking to sell the mods (wheels, coilovers, exhaust) to bring the price down ~$2500 at least, leaving it at a cost of $4500 for the vehicle (Am I underestimating the price of mods?)

The 'transmission leak' has me a bit weary. Not a car I would be shopping for but here are some questions that you should answer prior to purchasing:
- Where is the leak coming from exactly? How do you know it is a transmission leak and not a rear main seal?
- Where was all the work done? Does the seller have receipts?
- Do you have stock parts and will you do the work yourself?
- Clean carfax? How long has this person owned it for?

Wouldn't mind throwing $2k to fix any issues related to the leak
Question- what would the worst care scenario be and how much would that potentially cost? A need to replace the transmission?
