G37s With Black Seats BUT White dash?

Hey guys, found a G37s sedan w/black seats but a white dash. Supposedly has a clean title.
I'm assuming the interior was originally white w/ blacks seats swapped in OR the interior may have sustained damage and was replaced with black seats?

Thoughts? Pics below

Edit: Noticeable cracks for an 80k vehicle by the clock/temp control pictured below

That combo was never offered. there was a tan interior with black dash, but not the other way around. It looks like someone swapped the entire from a black car minus the dash in this car.... Even the carpet was swapped.

The other option is that this tan dash was swapped into the black car but why would anyone do that? Unless the dash airbag went off and the tan dash was cheaper?

Do you have the VIN? you can see what originally came with the car.

interesting, I'm currently working on a getting a reply from the owner. He saw my text asking if it had any accidents 2 hours ago and no response. He might just be busy

Ask for a picture of the VIN label from inside the door jamb. Sample:

This will give you the VIN, paint and trim codes that can be decoded.
For reference, INTERIOR TRIM codes:
G= Graphite;
K= Stone; and
H= Wheat

All the dashes in '09 were black, regardless of the leather.

My guess is this was originally a Graphite interior, and after the airbags blew out the dashboard, they jammed in the least expensive junkyard pieces they could find.

^ Yeah that's what i was talking about. the earlier ones were all black regardless of the rest of the interior being tan / black.

So my guess is still the same as Rochester's, it's a replacement dash after the previous one blew the bags.

Bottom line is this, I would NOT buy this car.
