Need to Know: Internal / Driver Features

Are there any special or 'luxury' driver features that I should really know about with the car?

Noticed the progressive wiper setting and the moving of the seat back when you get in and out of the car. Any real cool features that I have no clue about? I'm in a 2011, and I came from an '07 Camry.

You can make the wheel move up and back as well. Memory seats, auto sunroof, if you have tech some cars have adaptive cruise control and automatic turning headlights.

Somewhere on this board is a link to all the dealer brochures. No need to risk asking us and getting punked.

Which cars came with automatic turning headlights?

I have the sport package (aka fully loaded) and I don't think my headlights turn with the car.

They got rid of those since the 2010 model year. And having the tech package would be fully loaded, except on the IPLs.

Nope, that's just wrong. More often than otherwise, if the Sedan had the Tech Package, then it also came from the factory with Premium and Navigation Packages. That doesn't mean by virtue of having brake assist and adaptive cruise control that your car is "fully loaded". The only model that could come close to that phrase would be the RWD Journey with Sport, Premium, Nav and Tech (and a slushbox).

Here, this is always a helpful run-down of features:

No, you're wrong. You had to have the navigation, sport, premium, and interior accents package in order to get the tech package. Except for accessories, that's fully loaded. So what did I say wrong?

I don't recall that at all. The 6MT was the top-of-the-line Sedan, and this tech package wasn't available on that model. Regardless, I just looked through this PDF brochure you found, and it clearly says what's required for the Tech Package, so that's that, I suppose. Good find.

And what the heck is an interior accents package? Wait... wood grain dash? LOL

Here's where we differ - you could get the Tech Package in the AWD sedan, but you couldn't get performance upgrades from the Sport Package unless you had RWD, so by that measure, just by having the Tech Package doesn't mean "fully loaded" when it's an AWD G37, knowatimean?

Another cool feature with this car is that you’ll get a water leak in the driver or passenger side.

I always worry when it rains outside. I have to keep the car garaged. I’m looking to sell it by the end of this year. It’s a shame too, since it drives great.

Well, Gorilla tape around the edge of the sun roof solves most of that problem. Doesn't help when the door seals start leaking, though.

Would gorilla tape damage the paint?

I have a 2011 G37 Journey RWD sedan with sport package & tech package. Has intelligent cruise control, brake assist and automatic wiper blades.

Interior has the high gloss maple trim and the front doors have the illuminated "INFINITI" door sills although the driver side one is starting to burn out.

I'm pretty sure my car is 'fully loaded'. I remember looking at package list before buying my car and it came with every single option that was listed. It was like over $8,000 in options.

Tech Package
Sport Package
Premium Package
Navigation Package.
