Engine Cover Retainer - 16566JK20A

These things are about $7.00 to $7.50 each. Can anyone find where it's more like $7.50 for a pack of five?

It's just nuts to pay that much for a lame little piece of aluminum. Kills me to do so.

I'm sure a gazillion of these are being stamped each year, yet somehow Nissan has locked it down where you have to pay $7.00 each. Each! WTF?

Check your local hardware store. It’s called a step washer.

Actually, I think it's called a "Shoulder Washer". Also "Insert fitting" and "insulator washer".

Still looking, and will swing by Lowes to see what they have.

a well stocked ACE or the like has a better chance than big box in my experience.

Welp, that's a big "No" at the big box stores. Dammit. There's on ACE in the area, I could hit it and see.

Also called a "flanged sleeve bearing".

Seems to be a dozen different ways to refer to this puppy.

That's a great resource. http://www.mcmaster.com/

And there are sleeves there that get damn close to the specs on this thing, but no exact match.

I think I'm just going to have to give up and pay Nissan. Man, I hate getting gouged on price just because they can do it. It's wrong, and I feel like a chump.

It's February... I was missing two, so I bought three, and spent $32 shipped for these damn stupid little shoulder washers.

And now I feel like an easy mark. Hate this.

Little late, but amayama.com... Drop the part number and shipped from Japan. $3.37 each but after shipping, you still got them for cheaper. But, i've found its a great site for finding hard to find OEM stuff.
