Anyone know of other companies that make duckbill trunks? I am trading trunks with someone who says his trunk is from Success Automotive but I can't seem to find it on their website. This guy's trunk has a smaller lip profile than the Bella trunks. It doesn't look like the R1 Autoworks RB trunk either. Its carbon but he painted it and left the end. I still plan to trade with him but curious about this. I emailed SA and waiting to hear back also.

Just confirmed its not a SA trunk. I wonder if this is a custom trunk?

 

Not sure but let us know. Lots of small businesses in the carbon buisness these days so as far as quality and longevity only time will tell.

 

Any details on those led halo ring taillights?

I have the successful automotive one on my car. I've had it for about a year and a half, maybe two. It's held up well in the SoCal sun.
He calls it the Bella duckbill trunk. It sells for about 1k now. When he first started selling them they were only 600 bucks.
If it's an even swap, do it.

 

He is asking $100 on top of my oem trunk, which still seems like a good deal, even if its not the Bella trunk from Successful Automotive. The only downside is that his trunk doesn't have the trunk button, so I'll have to get a shop to help me with it, since its carbon fiber. I kind of like the smaller duckbill profile. But if I could, I'd for sure get the Bella trunk from SA.
