The one thing I couldn't get behind personally (no hate on those who love them) was the gauge cluster color scheme on the newer models. It's just lacks the depth without the red needle and also I notice that the blue accent ring isn't a flare style, its more of an actual ring (see photo references below). The newer years seems to have addressed some of the issues from earlier models, but regardless the car is extremely reliable and aside from minor details, its the same VQ37VHR beast under the hood.

Good Luck with your hunt/purchase, i'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Photos, because any good threads need them! -1scG37s

Lol yup my buddy with a '13 coupe is always jealous of my 07 gauge cluster. He wins with the 200c displacement though..

I bought a 15 q40 and couldn't be more satisfied.
i like the oddity and unique nature of owning the last in a classic line with a model number that really makes no sense.
All parts to convert to a sport model are in the garage slowly finding their way onto the car. I'm a first time Infiniti owner and loving it. I'm really happy I didn't get the "sport" Accord or another Audi!

Orly? You're replacing the dampers, steering rack, brakes and differential? That's impressive.

Congrats on your new car. Certainly better than most other sedans in its class.

the steering rack makes a HUGE difference. Highly suggested.
Diff - if you're going into the driving bits, the VLSD is on my list of parts to be upgraded anyway.

It certainly does. You wouldn't think something so innocuous would matter, but it does.

Conversely, you would think the BBK would be a huge add, but meh, not really. Looks awesome, though.
