Welcome to the site Jose, I'd check under that vinyl cover for clear coat abrasions, those can be pretty harmful if they have any motion under there.

Once I paint it the cover is coming off there's some little dings on the hood that's y I have it on...

No hating, I used to run those too. Last time was on my 89 RX7, but honestly they do more paint damage than protection. Also in all honesty it doesn't neatly follow the Gs body lines and almost looks incomplete. Your G is nice overall though. I can see you put some work into it
