also I only painted head lights as cheap fix while waiting to buy some high end black housing head lights. Thoughts? Thanks everyone for all the guidance! Been a fun 2 months!
Nice transformation, been quite busy I'd say! Did you just tint the headlight covers? If so, I'd remove that as it's illegal to do that in most states, and removing the headlights, baking the housings to remove the covers then painting the insides is the way to go. While you have the headlights open be sure to replace the inferior OEM lenses w/ STiR lenses from theretrofitsource.com you'll be glad you did!
Thanks blnewt. Yeah if I take time to remove head lights I'll just buy a new set. Anyone have a good source on platinum graphite spray? Need to delete that last bit of chrome on trunk.
Might consider a black paint for the trunk lip, might be hard to paint match the body color. And yeah, quite a bit of work for the headlights but it's time well spent if you are a DIY type. And while you have the lights open swapping the crap OEM lenses for STiR lenses from theretrofitsource.com is the way to go.
I agree, not to mention it diminishes your visibility at night. Not sure why people like darkening their headlights or tailights, but to each his own. It makes it harder for other drivers to see you also.

That's why I did mine GTR style in back, keep the light bright where it counts And definitely a big no for tinting headlight covers!
