Before and after shots

Tinted windows
Coil over suspension
19 inch vmr wheels +35... need spacers for flush
Removed all badges on rear
Painted front grill black
Vinyl wrapped chrome trim around windows black
now to install short ram intake and tune...
also I only painted head lights as cheap fix while waiting to buy some high end black housing head lights. Thoughts? Thanks everyone for all the guidance! Been a fun 2 months!

Nice transformation, been quite busy I'd say! Did you just tint the headlight covers? If so, I'd remove that as it's illegal to do that in most states, and removing the headlights, baking the housings to remove the covers then painting the insides is the way to go. While you have the headlights open be sure to replace the inferior OEM lenses w/ STiR lenses from theretrofitsource.com you'll be glad you did!

Thanks blnewt. Yeah if I take time to remove head lights I'll just buy a new set. Anyone have a good source on platinum graphite spray? Need to delete that last bit of chrome on trunk.

Looks much nicer. I would recommend painting the headlights if you want the smoked look, it took me about a weekend working at a leisurely pace.

Might consider a black paint for the trunk lip, might be hard to paint match the body color. And yeah, quite a bit of work for the headlights but it's time well spent if you are a DIY type. And while you have the lights open swapping the crap OEM lenses for STiR lenses from theretrofitsource.com is the way to go.

Tien Street Basis covers. Only like $500. Not the best for performance but looks nice. Who has the best head lights for our Gs?

Do you mean bulbs or replacements like one-eighty?

Replacing whole unit. With black housing and maybe a light tint on cover.

I agree, not to mention it diminishes your visibility at night. Not sure why people like darkening their headlights or tailights, but to each his own. It makes it harder for other drivers to see you also.

That's why I did mine GTR style in back, keep the light bright where it counts And definitely a big no for tinting headlight covers!
