Help me Identify my 2009 G37

Hey guys my dad just purchased a 2009 G37. But heres my question can anyone tell me what model he purchased. If i check carfax it lists it as Base/Sport. But whats weird to me is all Sport models have a Red S next to G37 this one has G37S but with a silver S same color as the G37 emblems. Its automatic with no paddle shifters. Its a Sedan.

Flappy paddles, sport seats, Akebono brakes, 18" sport wheels, limited slip diff, sport tuned steering, Tokico dampers, front sport bumper, sport side sills, aluminum pedals.

Or... little red S badge.

Highly unlikely someone *removed* the flappy paddles, so it's probably a Journey non-Sport. Here:

OP, you may want to use the VIN Decoder tool on our site. Go to: https://www.myg37.com/forums/vindecoder.php punch in the VIN and at least you have a baseline to match up against your Carfax report. Everything else may be just mods over time to include the "S".

Hey, that was cool! I didn't even know the Decoder tool was a thing.

Works great.

The Vin Decoder works pretty well I got to say. It does miss a few details like the packages that could have came with the car.

Found the 2009 G37 Sedan brochure online if you wanted to also comb the details to pin-point which model and package you may have.
