Help ?? G37 Sedan

Hey guys I own a 2011 G37 sedan and yesterday it rained like crazy and today when I got in the rear driver carpet was completely wet, the passenger was as well but very little compared to driver side, also driver front and passenger front carpet is wet as well, I did notice the passenger front plastics by where your right foot would usually be placed is wet maybe from the ac? I have no idea what can be causing this and would like to know if this has happened to anyone else ??

Were you driving car in rain or was it just parked?

I believe the sunroof drains are the usual culprits of the water in the interior, although it usually ends up in the passenger footwell I believe? Is it usually parked outside maybe under a tree occasionally?

^Here's your most likely cause. Take a little bottle of water and let it run into your drain holes in the sun roof. It should run out the bottom of the car. If it doesn't, there's your issue.

Nope it’s usually parked on my driveway with no trees around it, I am going to do the water bottle test and see what happens I’ll let you guys updated, thanks for the information. And yes there’s water on the passenger footwell as well

The drains run under the A-pillar trim and out through the firewall. Infinit went cheap on the rubner piece that forms the grommet and it can't handle the engine compartment environment. It's not cheap to have the dealer fix the problem.

Infiniti will remove the interior to dry it but they charge a pretty penny to do so. My dealer monkey scratched paint on both door frames and dealer wouldn't pay to fix the damage. Also damaged was the left lower door finisher which they did replace. Dash wasn't reinstalled correctly and I had go back to have that fixed. I have not been back to that dealer.

Maybe.

Is there an antifreeze smell? That would indicate a leaking heater core.

Nope antifreeze is full and hasn’t rained at all, passenger front carpet is wet as well, at this point I think it’s the ac drain is clogged
