0-60

my g37x sedan 2012 got a 4.67 0-60 time with me shifting using an app called "drag timer". is this even possible or did the previous owner do a mod that i dont know about to give it a little more power because from what i can tell i dont notice any performance mods.

My first thought would be to run at a drag strip with its optical timers while running the app and compare.

Altitude and gradient could have had an effect. Think the fastest recording I've seen is 5.0 and that's multiple pulls and launches typically.

Unless you have hidden forced induction then it's an inaccurate app.

You want fast, get a motorbike, 0-60 in ~3 seconds (less or more depending on bike). Quarter mile times 10-11 seconds stock.

I used iphone Dynolicious to test 0-60 for my 2007 G35S sedan(110k miles). It's 5.05. 2 years ago it's 5.3 and 4 years ago it's 5.5. The gas tank was all near empty during those tests. I also tested almost brand new Q50 3.7. It's 5.5 with half gas tank at best. I was very surprised because Q50 3.7 felt much stronger than my old G35S. All the tests were done in two directions(go & back) at the same road(flat at sea level) in the early morning (no wind). I guess our engine is tight when new and will get better when older(especially you floor it).
