Just a thought and maybe something to consider, do you think the gate diagram on the shift **** is redundant, given it's stamped into the trim?

Depends how OCD you are

I have the 370Z **** which has the shift pattern stamped into it. I've considered vinyl wrapping the aluminum surround that goes around the shifter, but haven't gotten around to it.

Yes. Absolutely.

I'd just go with the big Raceseng "R", or blank. That R of theirs is interesting looking.

So... left to right, I'd pick #3
Thanks for the opinions. I find I shift about 1/2 the time over hand and the other 1/2 side hand. I too am leaning toward #3 or #4.

I do indeed. I'll like get a custom one without the pattern. I honestly don't know why anyone would want the pattern, other than the very first time they drive the car. The indicator on the shift boot trim is more than enough for me.

Have them custom engrave 4DSC into that blue top.

I bet you they can feed an image file to the software that runs the engraving process. Here ya go:

IDK, I think that would throw off the aesthetics of the interior.

It's very pretty. I think that would look great on a 1971 Spitfire.

Here's a wooden one in a 370z for reference.
