Very nice.

Now imagine taking that grille to a body shop and having them paint that chrome edge to color match your car.

I actually like the chrome, the outside edge matches up well with the fog light chrome edge.

You're supposed to get the fog light surrounds painted black by said body shop while they're doing the grille

top fitment has a nice size gap that personally would drive me crazy! Aside from that and lack of other pictures/angles, I guess this is a decent alternative for the money but clearly nothing fits like OEM.

Also curious to see how that finish holds up over time

Just an update on this, the grill failed miserably and starting to chip and crack 4 months in. Contacted the eBay seller and got a full refund and sent it back. Either buy original midnight grill or paint it yourself.

Thanks for the follow up. Sucks you had to learn the hard way but glad you got a refund. This is why I bought the OEM midnight black grille and when it's time for a new car I will put the original one back and sell it.

I didn't get a midnight grill, but I bought an all black grill off eBay. No issues with mine. Daily driven, been on 2 trips and sits outside since my wife has the garage full of crap *grumble grumble*. Installed beginning of May I believe

Really? Just take your existing grille to a body shop. Drop it off, pick it up after a few days... /done.
