Exhaust Questions

Hi,

I'm new around here and have a couple of questions.

1. Is it possible to buy the GTHaus Y-pipe and Resonator and be able to hook it up to tanabe axle-backs (the GTHaus mufflers are so god damn expensive)?

2. What would it sound Like?

3. Would it be better to just Buy a Motordyne E370 instead?

Thanks!

Go motordyne.
doubtful it would all hookup and you may spend more cutting and rewelding flanges or extending piping.

GTHaus is pretty top notch. But like said, Motordyne is really reputable too. I have their ART pipes paired with a cheap Y pipe and a Top Speed y-back and it sounds great. Minimal drone and rasp, but really solid sound.

I would get the GTHAUS if I could afford it. Otherwise, I would get the full MD so that way, you can make some money back by selling the tanabe. Essentially , after selling the tanabe, you could have got the MD for $17xx - $2-3xx which can be $14xx-$15xx. Whereas the GTHAUS, you can't sell the tanabe.

You think I could get $200 for the Tanabe? It is in good shape, I've only had it for about 4 months and no dents or scratches, just salt from winter.

I'd also be pairing the MD exhaust with Kinetix Hfc's They sound very good right now

more than likely although tomei is loud and fits as well. Just requires and extension pipe

So basically I'd have to take it to my muffler shop to get it extended?
