Hello so I just got some art pipes for my G37 Sedan and I will install them soon. Any members have some installed and have have thrown a CEL?? Or is there something that can prevent it from throwing the CEL? - thanks!

 

I have therm and threw a CEL about 2 days after install. It is recommended that you remove the o2 sensors PRIOR to removing the cats as the vibration from an impact driver can damage the sensor.

I've had FI HFC as well as Stillen HFC and neither threw CEL. Just the luck of the draw. Note that a tune can eliminate the CEL.

 

Thanks I appreciate the input! I am planning on tuning it if I like the performence I get from them.

 

I have ART Pipes and have no CEL's. Been running them for a year just plug your oem 02 sensors and you'll be good
