OBD-II and keyless entry range

I've noticed when I leave the Bluetooth OBD-II dongle i use with the torque app connected to my car that the keyless entry remote range is effectively cut to a few feet from the car.

anyone else notice this phenomena with other OBD-II devices or care to speculate on a cause?

I've never noticed that and I leave my adapter plugged in all the time.

No idea then. Can't be radio interference as the remote works in the 400mhz range and bluetooth is 2.4ghz

2400/400=6
It can be harmonics from some cheap BT module inside the OBD dongle.

My keyless range is like 2-3 feet at all times...I just assumed this was normal. I thought it was pitiful, but normal. And, I have a brand new battery in my remote. Weird.
