Back from the "Dark Side"

Welcome back,
Especially the N54 (twin turbo one in the first year 335's) and to a lesser extant the N55) have certainly have their share of problems. Sad because when they are "right", especially the N54 ones are an utter blast.
While the 335's scare me, I did give serious thought to the 328's (Especially the E92 or coupe model), but at the price range of what I paid for my 2012 37x, the depreciation on either a 335 or 328 would be pretty steep. While I do realize that most all cars are depreciating assets, obviously some depreciate far more than others.
I am also personally a huge fan of naturally aspirated engines. Quite sad to know that are an endangered beast due to manufacturers struggling to keep or exceed the performance of the previous model while still meeting ever stringent CAFE standards and other regulations.
Not to mention that in China, which has now reached a point where they are every bit as important to car manufacturers and where they assess huge taxes on engine displacement and it all put places a death knell of powerful naturally aspirated powerplants.
Forgive the sidetrack!
Best,
JJ
