Accessory Initialize Reset Issues
Today I purchased a 2010 G37X. I was messing around in the hidden menu looking to do a full reset of the radio to customize to my liking. I saw the option i was looking for but being retart me I said let me press that "Accessory Initialize Reset " button I had no business pressing. well now my audio and reverse camera lines are no longer present. I have googled the matter and found one vague post on the matter. I figure my only option here is to go to the dealer and have them fix it. my question is what should i specifically ask them to do to prevent the dealer trying to get one over on me and do you believe the dealer will charge me a lot to do this if at all? Could I possibly avoid all that excitement witch a battery disconnected overnight type deal?

I live in Long island NY. A buddy of mine works at a Nissan dealership do you think they can fix it ? Or only Infiniti dealer can? If not I wouldn't mind making the trip to get it fixed. Annoyed I did this to my self lol
Nissan should be able to fix it. If not, let me know and I can work something out for you.

You need to reconfigure your vehicle options via Consult III which is only available at Nissan/Infiniti dealers. I did the same exact thing a couple months ago. Luckily I work at a dealer so I had no issues getting it working again. Where are you located? If you're in the tristate area, I can help you out. I'm in NJ.
I have a 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster Touring, and have done the same thing! I feel so dumb! How costly is this fix? Is there any other work around to having that software, or going to a dealer for that software? Is there any way to get it fixed, free of charge?
There is no workaround. The configuration must be set and initialized by CONSULT-3 (Nissan software). Any Nissan/Infiniti service department should be able to do the job. They will likely charge you for one (1) hour of labor at whatever their prevailing rate may be.
This "reset" option is "hidden" for a reason...
Good luck.

Are you still working at the dealership? I base in North NJ as well and need help with the audio system after doing the same dummy thing I lost my audio... My Infiniti dealership failed to recover my audio... I think they have no idea how to do this...
