New guy into G37x
Hi guy, I'm new here. I current owned lexus is300, but my car got total loss. I trying to looking into 2013 G37x. But i don't know how good the car is. So i asking you guy for feedback about reliability, how the car run?, did they fix paper timing gasket? What should i look for? Thank you.
Welcome to the site Trung, sorry to hear about your IS300, the last nice looking IS Lexus IMO
The 2012+ Gs have the metal lined gasket so you're good there. If you don't need AWD I'd look into a RWD S sedan, they are loaded w/ all the good performance features and have more aftermarket mods available.
At any rate, they are solid cars and should be trouble free in the 2012+ years, good luck w/ your search!

They're all sport appearance with varying body aero mods. I own a 2012 G37xS fully loaded interior with sport appearance. Great car for snow bound states. Personally I still prefer RWD after owning 2, and driving 30+ RWD vehicles. Just something about them that keeps me crawling back for more.
I own a 2013 G37x. It is a very fun car to drive and still can be a daily driver of course. You won't get earth shattering MPG's with city type driving (I usually average anywhere from 17-21 mpg with mixed city/highway driving). I also have Stillen Gen3 CAI and Stillen Catback Exhuast which really opened up the cars performance. Ton of mods for this car. To me, the G is still a very attractive sport luxury sedan on the road that is fun to drive, reliable and defined. Enjoy your search!
I too own a 2013 G37xS and i am in love haha. But seriously, it's easily the best and most fun vehicle I have owned. Previously had the G25x and they're night and day in terms of fun and performance. I would try searching on like cars.com or autotrader.com and put like 100 miles radius just to get an idea of where you can get the car. Doesn't hurt to search of like a herb chambers-type site either. Good luck
From what I gather, the biggest difference between regular X and X sport, is the sport seats.
If I were going for an X, I would just get a regular model, unless I can get a sport for around the same price.
